Beaches-East York Councillor Janet Davis is holding her annual Community Environment Day Sunday. Sunday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lots near East York Memorial Arena, 373 Cedarvale Ave. You can properly dispose of hazardous material (motor oil, paint, compact fluorescent bulbs, batteries) and electronics (computer equipment, phones, VCRs, printers, speakers, etc.), as well as drop off items to be donated to local schools - art supplies, children's books, fabric pieces.
